<description>We are the NGO working for leprosy patiens and their children education past 14 years.
The people living in the villages/colonies are from the various walks of lives. Most of them are economically poor and hence victim to major diseases and have been deprived of basic necessities of lives. Because of the new environment, new people and place most of the people living in the villages and even migrants do not know where to turn to earn their livelihood. Hence there a commendable need of awareness generation and equipping people with skills so that they may give a right start to their lives. These people need to be given awareness on the various aspects of live in this part of the area of intervention. They need to be built, informed, and formed so that they live their life without much of difficulties

Besides this, welfare programmers like individual maintenance of the elderly disabled persons, residing in the Ashram are being carried out with the help of HelpAge. We also managed to get old age pension through Help Age, 146 members benefited from the above programme. Now, they are somewhat developed and have enhanced their image in the society, there by slowly coming out of the stigma of being the untouchables.
