Our Holiday Meals Program was developed by Navarre Rotarian Thom Guthrie to help Navarre students who are on the free lunch program to have access to meals during extended school breaks. In 2014, Rotary Club of Navarre along with generous restaurants in the area provide one thousand dollars worth of gift cards for students to use during Winter and Spring breaks.
This program evolved to provide direct support for students who were homeless. Our donations provided for meals during the holidays and cash for purchasing graduation supplies and attending prom and other functions.
This program now falls under the McKinney Vento Program for homeless children. We support this program with annual donations.
